MovieJuice Meets Horror Maestro Wes Craven

By Mark Ramsey | 2006/03/07

He’s the “Sultan of Slash,” and I wish I had thought of that title first.

Of course, I’m talking about the great Wes Craven, the auteur of such horror classics as The Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, and the new version of his cult classic, The Hills Have Eyes.

Tune in to my 15 minute interview with Wes, it’s full of ruminations on what people call him (good and bad), whether or not Freddy haunts his dreams, and why a disembodied ear in a Styrofoam container should give us all the heebie-jeebies.

It’s funny, it’s fun, and Wes is a great sport.

Download the interview in mp3 format here, or play it right on the web here.

And check out The Hills Have Eyes, opening this weekend.
